Bordered by 2.5 miles of the scenic New River, this intricately designed course by Arthur Hills/Steve Forrest and Associates is accompanied by a 2003 club house. Through the generosity of long-time Virginia Tech gold supporters, this state-of-the-art course is both intense for members and fair for new players.

Pete Dye himself has called the River Course of Virginia Tech, “A place that has all the ambience and qualities that make a golf course really good. Here you’ve for the sound of the river up and down the whole golf course, the entire time … the river and scenery are unbelievable.”

Preston’s at the River Course is a full-service, sit-down establishment. The dinning option provided by this course is elegant with a spectacular view of the river and comfortable seating. The food and drink menu provides something delectable for everyone to enjoy their experience.
