In 2016, the former Geneva Ridge Resort underwent a multi-million-dollar contemporary transformation, which resulted in the facility reopening under a new name, The Ridge Hotel.
The privately owned 146-room Ridge Hotel overlooks acres of secluded and wooded shoreline and the award-winning Geneva National Golf Club. The hotel’s restaurant, cocktail lounge, outdoor poolside terrace, and flexible meeting and banquet spaces offer magnificent panoramic views of the property – making it one of the most unique and sleek hotels in the Lake Geneva area. Amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, a 12-foot outdoor fire feature, full-service banquet and meeting facilities, an on-site health club, spa, outdoor bar, restaurant, cocktail lounge and a forthcoming coffee and wine bar.
Located 1.5 miles west of The Ridge Hotel, Geneva National Resort & Club offers 54 holes of challenging championship golf. The three golf courses were designed by legendary masters Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino and Gary Player. Built into the natural rolling hills of Lake Geneva, they are not only fun to play but are visually stunning.

The Arnold Palmer Course
Length: 7,171 yards
The Arnold Palmer Signature Course winds through the rolling woods of Geneva National, with three spectacular finishing holes along Lake Como. Arnold Palmer himself calls the Signature 17th hole one of his favorites, placing it at 11th in his personal “Dream 18″ in the eastern part of the states. A tough course featuring elevated tees and challenging greens, “The King’s Course” is golf at its best.
The Gary Player Course
Length: 7,008 yards
The Gary Player Course began as a nine-hole course in 1995, and the Black Knight returned in 2000 to complete his quest: 18 scenic holes of tempting risk-reward golf. Currently this course, which traverses woodlands and wetlands, is the only Gary Player designed course in Wisconsin. Ever challenging and somewhat forgiving, golfers can leave the Black Knight’s track with tales to tell.
The Lee Trevino Course
Length: 7,120 yards
The Lee Trevino Course at Geneva National sprawls throughout the rolling Wisconsin countryside. Challenging for the seasoned golfer yet forgiving for the beginner, Trevino offers a memorable round of golf as players find themselves immersed in the picturesque forests of the Geneva National community. This course plays to Trevino’s natural fade and features subtle dog-leg right holes on nearly every par 4 and 5. Trevino has signed his name to only a handful of courses, and this is one to experience.
